Greenhough Hope Vineyard Chardonnay 2019

Hope Vineyard Chardonnay is produced from Mendoza and UCD15 clones grown in clay-rich loam and river-stone soils on the elevated Waimea Plains. These small, intensely flavoured bunches give the wine concentration, structure and energy.

The 2019 shows a flinty, smoky and intensely perfumed character, with nutty Cox’s apple, ripe juicy fruit and saline lemon acidity. Toast, sweet fruit and a firm mineral line combine in a powerful yet energetic Chardonnay.
