Clos du Meix Garnier is a rare 1.36-hectare monopole owned entirely by Domaine Monthélie-Douhairet-Porcheret in the centre of the village. Its old Pinot Noir vines, including vines around 90 years of age, produce a distinctive expression of this historic Monthélie site.
The 2021 is scented and inviting, with a dry, medium-bodied palate. Fine-grained tannins are compact and clearly defined, building gradually through the wine and giving structure to its fragrant Pinot Noir character.
