Giuseppe Mascarello Barolo Monprivato 2018

Monprivato is one of Barolo’s historic single vineyards and has become inseparable from Giuseppe Mascarello, whose family has cultivated the site for generations. Its southwest-facing white and grey marl soils produce a classical Nebbiolo of fragrance, precision and remarkable longevity.

The 2018 is poised and finely detailed, with raspberry and red cherry, dried flowers, orange peel, spice and saline earth. Medium-bodied and graceful, it is structured by ultra-fine tannins and persistent freshness, promising further complexity with bottle age.
