Robert Groffier Gevrey-Chambertin Les Seuvrees 2022

Les Seuvrées is a Gevrey-Chambertin village climat located beside Charmes-Chambertin. Domaine Robert Groffier works 0.82 hectares of Pinot Noir on clay-limestone soils, with vines aged 30 years and older. Average production is approximately 4,000 bottles.

A five- to six-day cold maceration is followed by a warmer fermentation with indigenous yeasts to extract colour and flavour. The wine is matured for approximately 12 months in oak barrels, including 15% new oak, and then for three months in stainless steel.
