As its name suggests, this red wine reveals all the aromas of the Mediterranean scrub and is distinguished by a pleasant hint of saltiness. Mediterra is a wine of great character, expressing the intensity of a wholesome fruit, kissed by the sun and the sea.
Ruby red in color with purple highlights, it is a fragrant and intensely fruity wine, with blackberry, plum, and cherry aromas intertwined with spicy notes of white pepper and sophisticated herbaceous aromas. On the palate, it is fresh, intense, and surprisingly persistent.
Winemaking
The Syrah, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon are harvested at different times and vinified separately using the traditional method, with careful attention to maceration to ensure a fresh and fragrant wine. The wine continues to age for eight months in second-use barriques and for at least four months in bottle.
