Aux Thorey lies in the northern sector of Nuits-Saint-Georges, close to Vosne-Romanée and neighbouring Premiers Crus including Les Bousselots and Aux Chaignots. Pierre Brisset’s southeast-facing parcel of mature Pinot Noir produces a wine that combines Nuits structure with aromatic finesse.
The 2022 offers dark cherry and berry fruit, violet and sweet spice, underpinned by pronounced mineral energy. Concentrated yet polished, it has ripe, fine-grained tannins and a long finish that will reward patient cellaring.
