Rallo

Founded in Marsala in 1860 by Don Diego Rallo, Rallo has more than 160 years of winemaking history in western Sicily. In 1996, the historic estate became part of the Vesco family, whose agricultural roots in the Alcamo area date back to 1920. Under the Vesco family, Rallo entered a new chapter focused on expressing Sicily’s native grape varieties and distinctive Mediterranean terroirs, while preserving the heritage and traditions established over generations.
Today, Rallo cultivates vineyards across Alcamo, Marsala and Pantelleria, with a strong commitment to organic viticulture and the character of indigenous Sicilian varieties. The estate’s vineyards were converted to organic farming between 2007 and 2010, reflecting a philosophy centred on biodiversity and respect for the land. From the freshness and aromatic character of Carta d’Oro Bianco to the distinctly Sicilian expressions of Il Manto and Il Principe, Rallo combines historic roots with a contemporary approach to showcase the diversity and identity of western Sicily.
