Les Chaumes is a Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru situated directly below the renowned Aux Malconsorts vineyard. Its moderately deep, stony soils produce Pinot Noir with the village’s signature perfume and spice, expressed in a comparatively supple and graceful register.
The 2023 is aromatic and refined, with red and black cherry, violet and exotic spice supported by fine earthy notes. Silky tannins and vibrant acidity give the wine shape and persistence, while the finish remains elegant and poised.
