Bollinger R.D. 2008 is the recently disgorged expression of an exceptional Champagne vintage. Created by Madame Bollinger, R.D. combines prolonged ageing on the lees with release soon after disgorgement, bringing together mature complexity and striking freshness.
The 2008 glimmers gold and offers marzipan, stewed apricot, honey, breadcrumbs and bergamot. A rich, precise mousse carries citrus, mirabelle plum and vine peach, followed by fresh hazelnut, salinity and an exceptionally long finish.
