Robert Groffier Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Sentiers 2022

Les Sentiers is a Chambolle-Musigny Premier Cru situated directly below the Bonnes-Mares Grand Cru. Domaine Robert Groffier’s one-hectare parcel is planted with Pinot Noir vines aged 40 years and older on clay-limestone soils. Average production is approximately 5,000 bottles.

The wine is vinified with 100% whole bunches. A five- to six-day cold maceration is followed by a warmer fermentation with indigenous yeasts to extract colour and flavour. It is matured for approximately 12 months in oak barrels, including 25% new oak, and then for three months in stainless steel.
